Welcome to the Anahata Yoga Center located on High On The Hill Farm
The Anāhata Yoga was opened in 2022 and is dedicated to the teachings of Yoga Master Baba Hari Dass.
The center was founded by Āshwin Brad Sherman, Ph.D., a yoga practitioner for 51 years & a direct student of Baba Hari Dass
& Animā Jan Dubois, M.A., a yoga practioner for 45 years &, also, a direct student of Baba Hari Dass
for the purpose of offering the classical scientific method of yoga to achieve Better Health, Well Being & Deep Inner Peace
The center is non-profit and the instructors receive no compensation.
We gratefully accept donations for maintaining the center.
We are grounded in Ashtanga or '8-limbed' Yoga as prescribed in the Yoga Sutras by Srí Patanjali.
The primary focus of our yoga classes is āsanas or yoga postures - the 3rd limb- but all 8 limbs will be explored. We strongly encourage mindful presence in our classes unifying body movement with conscious breathing and full engagement of the mind. Classes are tailored for beginner thru advanced students.
Our meditation classes focus on prānāyāma (breathe control) & dhyāna (meditation) but also includes mantra, mudrā, kriyā & pratyāhāra and are taught by teachers who meditate every day.
